HTC will not replace or repair Sprint EVO phones

HTC will not repair or replace the popular EVO phone and has no date set to do so. This is very unfair to offer a manufacturer warranty and not honor it. The phone has been out for nearly a month and HTC has had plenty of time to setup repair options for consumers. Customers are left with the option of taking it to a Sprint repair store and paying a whopping 100.00 replacement fee assuming they have the 7.00/month replacement plan and assuming the phone is even available for replacement. The Sam's club Sprint kiosk where this particular phone was purchased is out of stock and is unable to give a replacement date. HTC needs to think about more than selling the phone. They should have replacement phones available for those people the have defective phones.
